With over a decade of experience in hospitality education and research, I have dedicated my career to exploring the dynamic intersections of technology and customer experience in hospitality and tourism management. I currently serve as an Associate Professor and Graduate Program Director at the University of South Florida's School of Hospitality and Tourism Management. Throughout my career, I have been recognized for my innovative approach, earning accolades such as the 2024 Emerging Leader Award from the International Council on Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Education (ICHRIE) and being listed as a Highly Cited Researcher for 2023 by Clarivate Analytics. Additionally, I have received the Outstanding Researcher Award from USF and multiple Emerald Literati Awards for my contributions as an outstanding reviewer and author.
My work extends beyond the classroom to research that bridges the gap between academia and industry. Recent studies on the impact of AI in hospitality, customer engagement through gamification, and sustainability strategies have provided actionable insights for researchers and practitioners alike. I am passionate about mentoring the next generation of hospitality leaders and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
